The categories in the Caribbean Business Awards are open to any business sector irrespective of size. Identify the category/categories you wish to enter and submit your registration form.  


Business Leader of the Year – Open to business leaders in any sized company who retain loyal customers, inspire and motivate staff, grow profitability and make his or her vision for the company a reality. Attention will be given to qualities such as innovation, community service and the drive to ensure the company’s success together with intangible qualities such as integrity and vision.  


Business Start Up of the YearThis award recognises the achievements of companies in any industry that commenced trading after September 2008 and who have beaten their original forecasts and can demonstrate outstanding long-term potential.  


Rising Star of the Year – highlights the valuable contribution made by a newcomer whose initiative and determination has made an exceptional contribution to the success of their business over the last 12 months. They will also have demonstrated exceptional ability to make a difference when working with clients, suppliers, colleagues and stakeholders to an organisation irrespective of industry  


Sales/Marketing Manager of the Year – Recognises exceptional achievement in a senior Sales or Marketing role, Entrants must demonstrate leadership, vision and improved performance for stakeholders, employees, customer’s suppliers and shareholders  


Sales Executive of the Year – Recognises exceptional achievement within the sales arena at an individual level demonstrating outstanding sales performance whose level of professionalism and standing in their sales roles make them ideal as a role model and spokes-person for the sales profession.  


Sales Team of the Year – exceptional achievement within the sales arena at a team level demonstrating outstanding sales performance whose level of
professionalism and standing in their sales roles make them ideal as a role model and spokes-people for the sales profession.  


Sales Support Team of the Year – This category is open to all teams that  support the sales function within a business but doesn’t have responsibility for closing sales.  Entrants must be able to  demonstrate how they support the sales role and show an understanding of the sales process 


Marketer of the Year – Acknowledges exceptional achievement within the marketing arena at an individual level. Entrants must demonstrate outstanding performance and a high level of  professionalism making them ideal as a role model and spokes-person for the marketing profession.    


Marketing Team of the Year- Awarded for exceptional achievement within the marketing arena at a team level. Entrants must demonstrate outstanding marketing performance and a level of professionalism making them ideal as a role model and spokes-people for the marketing profession.  a. For a product / b. For a service  


Marketing Campaign of the YearRecognises the organisation that deployed a marketing campaign to support organisational strategies, build brand awareness by conveying key messages and perspectives about a product or business. – and has achieved commercial success.  


Customer Service Leader – Awarded to individuals in a senior customer service role at director level or above. Entrants must demonstrate leadership, vision and improved performance for stakeholders, employees, customer’s suppliers and shareholders  


Customer Service Manager – – This category  is awarded to individuals in a customer service managerial role. Tthose nominated will have demonstrated outstanding management skills encouraging colleagues to ever-higher levels of improvement.  


Customer Service Professional – Open to individuals who have demonstrated superb customer service skills day-in and day-out and are an outstanding example for the profession. They possess the key behavioural skills needed to build relationships with customers and colleagues, as well as understand the wider purpose of the job role and how it fits in with the needs of the organisation.  


Customer Service Team - Recognises a truly excellent customer service team whose level of professionalism and standing in their customer service roles make them ideal as a role model and spokes-people for the customer service profession  


Best Use of Technology – Award that recognises where technology has directly improved business delivery, provides real business benefits and shows system adoption across the organisation.  


Contact Centre  Agent of the Year –Open to individuals who can  demonstrate outstanding performance within the contact centre profession.,  They possess the key behavioural skills needed to build relationships with customers and colleagues, as well as understand the wider purpose of the job role and how it fits in with the needs of the organisation 


Contact Centre Team of the Year – This category is open to all teams working within a contact centre of any size.  Judges will be looking for evidence of customer satisfaction, efficiency of call handling and strong team communication.
